Salam Meat & Grocer Inc. is looking for one full-time Butcher.

Title: Butcher, Retail

Location: Brampton, ON, L6Z 3S4

Salary: $36.50 per hour

Terms of Employment: Full Time/40 hours per week

Language: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work site environment: Odours Cold/refrigerated

Work setting: Butcher shop, Supermarket and meat department

Responsibilities

Tasks

·         Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers

·         Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat

·         Wrap and package prepared meats Remove bones from meat

·         Weigh meats for sale Cut poultry into parts Price meat products Sell meats to customers

·         Cut fish into steaks and fillets Grind meats

·         Prepare special displays of meats, poultry and fish products
