Job Duties

Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily restaurant operations
Analyze financial statements and manage budgets to maintain profitability
Determine cost of food, supplies, and labor and monitor expenses
Supervise and coordinate activities of staff (20+ employees)
Recruit, train, and evaluate staff performance
Establish staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage
Maintain inventory and negotiate with suppliers
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
Implement marketing strategies to increase customer traffic and revenue
Resolve customer complaints and ensure high service standards

Employment Requirements

Completion of a college diploma or equivalent in hospitality management or a related field
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in restaurant or food service management
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer applications

Certifications (Preferred or Required)

Food Safety Certificate
Serving It Right Certificate (BC requirement)
Food Service Manager Certification
