Highway Long-Haul Truck Drivers Full Time NEW

Lastmile trucking Ltd., located at 13514 87A Ave, Surrey, BC, V3W6B6, Canada, is presently looking for Highway Long-Haul Truck Drivers. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license to operate commercial semi long-haul trucks, such as a Class 1 or A driver’s license.

The salary will be $30.00 to $33.00 hourly (to be negotiated). This is a full-time, permanent position, requiring a minimum of 50–60 hours of work per week.

Main job duties will include:

*Driving as part of a two-person team or convoy

* Operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials

*Overseeing the condition of the vehicle and inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment

*Performing brake adjustments

* Conducting pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and overseeing all aspects of the vehicle

* Receiving and relaying information to central dispatch

*Recording cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption

*Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo
