Job Title: landscaping supervisor
Work Location : 1087 East Kent Ave N suite 121 Vancouver, British Columbia V5X 4V9 (various job sites)
Salary: 61,000 annually / 32 hours per week
Terms of employment: Permanent/ Full time

Job Requirements
Languages: English

Education: College diploma/certificate in landscaping, horticulture, construction management, or a related field.

Experience: 5 years or more of experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or landscape construction supervision.

Work site environment: Outdoors

Responsibilities
– Hire, supervise, train, and schedule landscaping staff and crews
– Plan, organize, manage, and supervise landscape construction and grounds maintenance projects
– Schedule work activities, events, and project timelines
– Plan and estimate labour requirements, materials, and project costs
– Organize and direct the construction of decks, decorative walls, and retaining walls
– Monitor work quality and provide technical advice to improve property value and functionality
– Resolve work-related issues and recommend measures to improve productivity and quality
– Maintain work records, logs, and project documentation
– Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies
– Assist with tendering and administering landscaping contracts
– Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company
