Cabinetmaker Full Time

Dari Construction Ltd.  Located at 678 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK, S4R 8G4 is currently looking for two (2) Cabinetmaker. Salary will be $33.60 per hour. Some experience in the field is preferred.  Training will be provided to the hired employees. Applicant should be able to communicate in English. This is a full-time position. We will also consider applicants who are willing to work part time. The Following are some of the duties:

·         Operate woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, mortisers and shapers, to cut, shape and form parts and components

·         Prepare specifications of custom-made cabinets that maximize storage

·         Shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces, using hand tools, such as planes, chisels, or wood files.

·         Study plans, specifications or drawings of articles to be made

·         Trim joints and fi t parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit and reinforce joints

·         Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics

·         Apply varnish, veneer, stain or polish to finished products

·         Maintain clean and safe work environment
