Carpenter Full Time

Diamond Construction Inc. located at Unit 3, 1428 Lorne Street, Regina, SK S4R2K4 is currently looking for three (3) Carpenters. Applicants should have some experience or relevant training in carpentry. Applicant should be able to communicate in English. This is a full time position. We will also consider applicants who are willing to work part time. The salary will be $31.00 per hour. Following are some of the duties:

–       Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements

–       Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials

–       Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems

–       Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware

–       Maintain, repair and renovate residential homes and other establishments

–       Supervise apprentices and other construction workers
