Ryanson Transport Ltd. is seeking experienced Truck Drivers to join our growing fleet based in Nisku/Edmonton, Alberta. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive wages and consistent work across local and international routes.

Wage: $36.00 per hour
Hours: 40–50 hours per week

Location: On the road (various locations)
Start Date: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities:

·         Operate and drive tractor-trailer units, including flatbed and B-train configurations, to transport goods across local, provincial, and cross-border routes

·         Plan, monitor, and adjust routes using GPS and dispatch systems to ensure timely and fuel-efficient deliveries

·         Perform comprehensive pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, including brakes, tires, lights, refrigeration units, and safety equipment

·         Load, unload, secure, and tarp cargo in accordance with safety standards and load specifications, including oversized or specialized freight

·         Transport hazardous materials in compliance with TDG regulations, where applicable

·         Maintain accurate driver logbooks, trip reports, fuel records, and inspection documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements

·         Communicate with dispatch to receive instructions, update delivery status, and report delays, incidents, or mechanical issues

·         Perform basic preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs when required

·         Ensure compliance with federal and provincial transportation laws, hours-of-service regulations, and company safety policies

·         Complete cross-border documentation and ensure compliance with customs and international shipping requirements

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a truck driver
Valid AZ/Class 1 driver’s license
Experience with long-haul, cross-border, and heavy equipment hauling
Ability to work flexible schedules (days, evenings, weekends)
Physically capable of handling loads up to 45 kg
